What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site blog, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Currently, the blog is not activated.

Contact forms

We don’t have any forms on this site. So there is no way you could send me your personal data, even if you wanted.

e-mail

I have enough headaches with my own e-mail than to bother collecting other people’s addresses. I’m not selling anything and have no intention of collecting e-mails for any reason. I actually would like to get rid of many of the addresses I have now. Less is better.

Analytics

There are a few analytics things keeping track of how much traffic my site is getting from what country, etc. They are standard with the hosting provider I have. I haven’t looked at them in years, but they are probably still there somewhere.

Basically, I track nothing and retain nothing. If you send me an e-mail, well then I have that e-mail, but that’s your own fault.
